This project was created after scanned notes after taking Chris Sziklas' and Matthew Juliana's Racskpace University course. A colleague in a 7:00am session shared her digital notebook technology. Shortly, after I purchased the Moleskine notebook technology, and tried the experience myself. Although there were some quirks with the mobile application, it still was an interesting concept. I still was not able to share my Moleskine notes of the AWS class with anybody. But at one of the "Water Cooler" meetings, the Engineers in our department brainstormed Ai with Amazon's service, titled Rekognition. There were some privacy concerns about a User's handwriting tied to an identity. The engineers and I created further developed the concept in a newly formed Ai Slack Channel. We also developed the product brief to learn more about Ai Learning Models, to share notes and concepts of Ai learning models hosted by cloud services. We also took the Google Cloud Platform Data Engineering courses which covered many Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.

Since most of the certificates required Learners to take multiple-choice exams, we came up with an alternative where the Learner uploads photos or PDFs of their notes, and Rekognition would extract the text and assess the Learner by keywords matched and the frequency of keywords. In addition, the sketches a Learner contributes could be used as learning aids if selected, thus earning a voucher to take an exam. I tested the AWS Rekognition service with various notes (i.e. handwriting, orientation, illustration, the size of the word) to see its limitations and learn more about the service for professional contracts and clients seeking an Ai platform.
